What is enclomiphene?
Enclomiphene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) taken by mouth. Instead of adding testosterone, it works on the brain's hormone signals so your testes make more of your own testosterone, which may help preserve sperm production.
At KIN Meds, enclomiphene is compounded by a licensed 503A pharmacy. It is not FDA-approved, and compounded medications have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. A licensed provider decides whether treatment is appropriate, and a prescription is required.

Safety information
Possible side effects include headache, hot flashes, nausea, mood changes and breast tenderness. Stop taking it and contact your provider right away if you notice blurred vision, spots or flashes in your vision. Medicines in this class may raise the risk of blood clots, so seek emergency care for leg pain or swelling, chest pain or sudden shortness of breath.
Full safety information
Enclomiphene can raise estradiol along with testosterone, which is one reason follow-up labs matter. Tell your provider about all medications and any liver, clotting, thyroid, adrenal or pituitary conditions.
Compounded by a licensed 503A pharmacy. Enclomiphene is not FDA-approved, and compounded medications have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality.
What is the difference between enclomiphene and TRT?
TRT adds testosterone from outside the body, which tells your brain to turn down its own signals and can lower sperm production. Enclomiphene works the other way, blocking estrogen feedback in the brain so it sends stronger signals to the testes to make your own testosterone. That is why enclomiphene is often discussed for men who want to protect fertility.
Is enclomiphene FDA-approved?
No. Enclomiphene is not FDA-approved. At KIN Meds it is compounded by a licensed 503A pharmacy for you as an individual patient, and compounded medications have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. A licensed provider reviews your intake and labs and decides whether it is an appropriate option for you.
Does enclomiphene preserve fertility?
Enclomiphene raises the hormones LH and FSH, which support both testosterone and sperm production, so it may help maintain fertility in a way that TRT does not. It is not a fertility treatment on its own, and results vary. If you are actively trying to conceive, tell your provider, who may suggest a semen analysis or a referral to a fertility specialist.
Do I need labs to take enclomiphene?
Yes. KIN Meds requires labs before starting enclomiphene, usually including morning testosterone plus hormones such as LH, FSH and estradiol. These help your provider confirm that your testes can respond, which enclomiphene depends on. Labs can be done at a lab near you, with an at-home kit, or with mobile phlebotomy in select states, and they are repeated after you start.
What are the side effects of enclomiphene?
Reported side effects include headache, hot flashes, nausea, mood changes and breast tenderness. Vision changes such as blurring or flashes are uncommon but serious, so stop and contact your provider right away if they happen. Medicines in this class may increase clot risk. Your provider monitors your estradiol and testosterone to keep levels in a healthy range.
A few quick questions, then a licensed provider reviews your intake in 24 hours or less. TRT, and women’s hormone care for ages 35 to 39, include a video visit. Women 40 and older are reviewed online. If treatment is not appropriate, you are not charged for treatment.
